'SYDE' is very similar to software engineering, but with a little less math and more system + product design courses.

I think everyone has an innate urge to express our artistic abilities. I want to demonstrate mine in a way that is not only beautiful to look at, but also practical. I think frontend meshes those two aspects well.

My major has taught me one thing - to learn the entire system before focusing on the specifics. As someone who is just starting out in their career, understanding of both front and backend is important. This will establish my foundation of knowledge for software roles I wish to pursue in the future.

So glad you asked! I started in January 2024, and I just got my first V6 a year later :D
